Rescue workers are attempting to salvage a teenage boy buried deep in rubble in Kathmandu after he was found alive, the BBC reports.
During the night, a UK aid flight carrying around 120 British nationals who were left stranded in Nepal arrived at Stansted Airport.
A team of Gurkha engineers have arrived in Nepal to assist rescue operations, after the death toll from the disaster rose neared 5,500.
It comes after the country’s Prime Minister predicted to increase to as much as 10,000.
