The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Warri Correspondents’ Chapel, Delta State, announces it’s 2025 Press Week with Theme: “Fight Against Oil Theft: The Impact of Private Security and The Role of the Media.”
The event is scheduled as follows:
Thursday, June 26, 2025, Sensitization Road walk with theme “NUJ Say No To Crisis In Warri” The sensitization walk starts by 8am, followed by Free Medical Outreach billed to start by 12 noon, at the Press Centre, Plot 12, Igbiaye Street, Off First Marine Gate, Warri, Delta State.
On Friday June 27, there will be Lecture/Award ceremonies featuring the inauguration of it’s Permanent Secretariat built and tastefully furnished by TANTTITA SECURITY SERVICES NIGERIA LIMITED at No 3, Eburu Street, Off Okumagba Avenue, Okumagba Layout, Warri, Delta State, by 10am
Special Guest of Honour is His Excellency Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State while Chairman on the occasion is Professor Ezekiel Agbalagba, Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) Effurun.
