Colossal in mismanagement, epic in foolishness and dormant in approach, timid in speech and clueless in governance, arrogant in failure and proud in cowardice, stupid in calling shots and lazy in giving orders, ethnocentric and nepotistic in appointment of people to key governmental positions.
You pride yourself on the mantra of fighting corruption, whereas you are the epitome of corruption, a cancer to Nigeria and an enemy of a peaceful state.
You lied to the people and to the authorities about your age, origin, qualifications, and abilities. You look for the slightest opportunities to transfer blame and you refuse to own in all mistakes.
You said you would change the welfare and living standards of your troops, but in reality you made it worse off. You made your country a laughing stock and a byword because of your actions in and out on a daily basis.
You came on board with propaganda with no proper agenda for the people; you have ‘ venezuelised’ and ‘Zimbabweanised’ our economy, ‘Iraqified’ and ‘ Afghanistanised’ our country. You are now on the verge of ‘Somalising’ this state. If care and caution is not taken to stop you, you might end up making the country go extinct due to your actions and inactions.
Taking a cursory look into your government and policies, a kindergarten pupil can easily see through you that you are shallow and very low in thoughts and actions, very odd in character and intellect; you downplay intellectualism and educational research, underfund education and give very less value to the wellbeing of the very people you swore to protect and defend. You have made Nigerians suffer untold hardship, you made them vulnerable to attack both at home and abroad.
The country’s foreign reserve is near empty under the false pretense that you want to acquire tucano jets for security purposes, which is yet to be put to use till date. Your kinsmen are on a rampage, killing, raping and maiming innocent civilians, farmers and even women and children.
Bloodletting is now the other of the, as you have made life cheaper and worthless. You surround yourself with sycophants and hypocrites who refuse to tell the truth about power because that’s your kind of person and the personality you possess.
You have no regard for the justice system; you continually spit on the rule of law and impoverish the educational sector.
I would have called this write-up an open letter but it’s very obvious you don’t read nor do you even know what’s going on around you and your nation, which you swore to protect and defend.
But I choose this for the simple reason of you boasting that you will defeat Boko Haram in months. Little did we know that you were bluffing. Instead, you have been defeated to the extent that the bandits are now issuing threats to your very face.
What a shame and a thing of disgrace. You were once their patron; you boasted that if you did not win, blood would flow in the country. Now here we are because of your dumbness.
You, your party and your cabinet have taken Nigeria twenty (20) years behind and still retrogressing beyond redemption. Your politics of bitterness and hatred have taken us nowhere. You claim to have a good heart but you lack initiatives and innovations.
Africa and Nigeria in particular don’t need strong men to rule them, because the era of personal strength and flawed characters has led us as Africans nowhere. We now need strong and independent institutions which are answerable to the people, self-regulated and built on meritocracy not mediocrity.
