Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode who was earlier today, Friday, released from detention after spending about 67 days in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has took to hisFacebook page to address his fans and to also express appreciation for all the support showed to him while he was under detention.
Kayode who as expected, claimed innocent of all charges, and said days spent under detention was the worst experience of his life, but also concluded by saying he’ll not give up the struggle of speaking the truth.
Below are his statements from his Facebook account:
“I give thanks to God that I am free after 67 days in detention. I thank my wife lawyers children and friends for all their support.
“This was the worst experience of my life but God was with me all the way. I suffered immeasurably but I count it all as joy.
“I am innocent of all charges and I look forward to defending myself vigorously in court. These charges are politically 
motivated and I have been severely punished for my political views and criticisms of the government.
