How my baby was stolen and sold for N400,000 by my aunt, but police demands N10,000 before investigating – Mum

The mother of a four-month old baby, Gloria Okon has accused the police of demanding N10,000 from her before they will investigate how her baby was allegedly stolen and sold for N400,000 by her aunt

According to the baby’s mother,  the four months old baby boy, Ugochukwu Obi was sold by Oyinye Abugo the baby’s mother’s aunt to one Onyebuchi Okonkwo of Abuelo quarters, Issele-Azagba, Aniocha North LGA. Mr.  Divine Obi is the father of the baby boy.

Gloria Okon and his Mother in-law, Mrs Obi have appealed to the Delta State police command to intervene. When contacted, Mrs Celestina Kalu, the Delta State police spokesperson promised to investigate the allegation.
