Yesterday, in Niger Delta
University, NDU, 15th march
2015, at about 4:00pm, a group
of cultists armed with matchets
and axes were said to have raided
the home of a 400level
Engineering student (Name
withheld) at efekiama in
Amassoma community.
According to neighbors, The boys came with
armed weapons, leaving others running for
their lives, the 400level Engineering student
who was just coming down from a motorcycle,
was quickly held down and his body was cut
into parts.
On the arrival of the security agents, the
cultists took to their heels leaving their victim
half way between life and death, the victim was
rushed to the Niger delta university sick bay by
members of amassoma police attack 1 and the
school security unit, it was unfortunate that the
victim could not survive as he gave up the
ghost on the hospital bed.
There have been emanating reports from the
campus earlier this year, alleging that members
of the black axe confraternity and the supreme
vikings were at war, which had earlier claimed
some lives.
There are also possible indications, indicating
that the victim was a member of the Black axe
confraternity, as reports from students are
suggesting that the act were perpetrated by
members of the Supreme Vikings confraternity.
With the death of this young man, there are
fears that more events may unfold.
