Wild is the expectation
Heralding the birth of a child.
Great is the exultation
When it yells its first life-cry.
Joy and pride abound
At the little bundle’s being.
And filled with bliss profound
It’s guardians’ heart does sing.
Then plans are on the loose
To guide it’s steps aright.
They’d feel it’s path with delight
If it were theirs to choose.
With great anticipation
They’d mould it’s many motions.
But no, its not their portion
The child must find its passions.
Baby Baby soft and smooth
What karma did you bring?
If your life be sweet as spring
It’d bring to many soothe!
