For most it would be a nightmare, but this man’s dream to be swallowed whole by an anaconda has come true.
Paul Rosolie, a naturalist and wildlife filmmaker, made a custom-built snake-proof suit that he tested on a real live anaconda for Discovery Channel’s “Eaten Alive.”
The risky experiment, which aimed to document what it’s like to enter the belly of the creature, will air on Dec. 7.
The show has already taken some criticism, though, with animal welfare organizations worried about the welfare of the snake.
Discovery hasn’t addressed the concerns as yet and still has a page promoting the show on their website.
