The Convener of ANDEM, Pastor Edewor Egedegbe, who spoke to journalists in Okuokoko Community, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta on Saturday said the state needed a structural change that had made it crawling without the necessary infrastructure since its creation 30 years ago
Pastor Egedegbe regreatd that the trajectory political representation in Delta was characterised with mass failure, insincerity and other anti-human vices that had continued to plague the state.“Today is a day to unveil the structure that will birth a new Delta on June 12, 2023. It is a day meant to unveil the process of enthroning governor Ovie Omo-Agege on June 12, 2023.“Today is a decision making day for the foot soldiers of Omo-Agege and crusaders of good governance to invade all nooks and crannies of the state.
“To evangelise on the need to bring on board a new government of progressives that will change our lives for better. We desire more than ever before.
“There is need for aggressive grassroots mobilisation, sensitisation and education to promote events and programs that amplifies distinguished Omo-Agege’s achievement as a leading answer to addressing several challenges in Delta.
“This project is conceived to promote inclusive good governance where the voice of the people will be heard,” he said.
Egedegbe urged the leadership in Delta to stop looting the wealth of the state under the guise of invisible projects.
“Every missing Kobo at the fullness of time shall be accounted for,” Egedegbe said.
