Delta state governor Emmanuel Uduaghan says Nigeria needs to be more united in order to surmount its present challenges.
Governor Uduaghan expressed the view at the inter-denominational thanksgiving service in commemoration of Nigeria’s 54th independence anniversary and dedication of the new government house chapel in Asaba, the state capital.
The governor acknowledged that the Goodluck Jonathan-led administration is faced with security and economic challenges. He said this could only be tackled when every Nigerian irrespective of one’s political inclination are united.
He said, “You must remember our president, President Goodluck Jonathan who as the head of this nation is faced with a lot of challenges especially in the area of peace and security but if you notice, things are turning around for good.”
Governor Uduaghan advised Nigerians to remain thankful to God irrespective of their present challenges.
