Life in all human societies is constructed upon, and are driven by values derived from mostly what we can see, touch and grasp with our earthly intellectual brain.
This is a complete negation of man’s inherent make up. His spirit, which is the animating core, and that which is truly alive in him does not lend itself to be easily aprehended with the five senses because of its immateriality. Thus, only a very tiny part of himself is educated in home, school and society at large, while the greater part of his real self is largely underdeveloped.
Thus, our educational systems roll out good and successful engineers, doctors, scientists and technocrats in diverse fields: But woefully fail to roll out in good numbers what is most important; they fail to produce genuine men and women who are thoroughly human beings. “Through and through”. The evidence is everywhere in the form of the chaos in the home fronts, and in government and in society. It evident in all the technical advances, sophisticated economic and political systems, and sadly, even remarkablly so in the proliferation of churches, mosques and temples, without corresponding growth in the “quality of the humanity of their adherents”;
One would think that in the course of development, life would be more joyous, peaceful and filled with inner contentment and happiness, and increased Life Expectancy. But this is not the case, and it gets worse with the passing of each decade. SHOULD THIS NOT MAKE US THINK AND BEGIN TO FIND THE “CORRECT” WAYS OF EDUCATING THE REAL MAN, OF EDUCATING THE SOUL?
