Charles Eyimofe Pemu wrote: On the looting of Itsekiri collective wealth by the crime minister of Ikenwoli’s palace, Ayiri Emami and gangs: There was a mild drama at the office of the assistant inspector general of police (AIG) during a crucial meeting between Itsekiri delegates consisting of Itsekiri women, men of both youths and elders from different communities, executives of the National Association of Itsekiri Graduates (NAIG) and myself led by the mother of Warri kingdom, Princess Rita Lori the lioness of Niger delta and the Nigeria Police force represented by one of the Assistant inspector general of police AIG at his office in Abuja on the 14th day of November 2017 at about 12:25PM on how to secure Itsekiri wealth by ensuring accountability of all funds allocated through the IRDC, Desopadec , NDDC and other agencies for the development of Warri kingdom using the frozen 2.1BN Itsekiri development funds siphoned into seven (7) different accounts managed by Keystone bank by the IRDC administration of Chief Ayiri Emami the crime minister of Itsekiri nation and his associates like Austin Onesan Gbokwa, Mode Akoma in collaboration with Former governor of Delta state, Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan, Hon Michael Diden Ejele and others through a fraudulent Itsekiri Regional Development Communities/commission (IRDC) that was never incorporated under the CAC law as a starting point to test the credibility and integrity of the Nigeria justice system and security agency. The drama ensued when our mother Princess Rita Lori exposed plans by some officers of the law who has been compromise to undermine the case of misappropriation and unchecked looting of Itsekiri development funds through IRDC by Ayiri Emami as chairman for 5yrs and Austin Onesan Gbokwa as vice for 9yrs.
Firstly, it is imperative we all know that it’s illegal and wrong for a reputable multinational firm like Chevron Nigeria limited to deal with agencies that are not incorporated by law and also is a crime for a financial institution such as Keystone bank to open a whole seven (7) corporate bank accounts for an unregistered agencies. Part of the crime committed by the leadership of the fraudulent IRDC under Ayiri is that they breached all the GMOU (Global Memorandum of Understanding ) which forbids the participation of government officials as community representatives in the IRDC of which by then Ayiri who was the chairman representing the turn of the Ugborodo community was then an executive of waterways security which makes him a government official that contradicts the the GMOU. Another crime is that , the agreement prohibited the lobbying of contracts by the executives of the IRDC but yet Ayiri used his position as chairman to take contracts for his companies and cronies that was never executed while his vice chairman (Onesan Gbokwa) who sees Omadino as his farm land also took contracts for himself.
Due to gravity of frauds done against Itsskiri lands by the leadership of Ayiri and his allies, which includes Austin Gbokwa, Mode Akoma and the rest contributed some reasonable millions of Naira to bribe the police in charge of the case so that the case can be frustrated and thrown out and for the frozen accounts where they siphoned our billions to can be unfrozen in order for them to withdraw Itsekiri developmental 2.1Bn which they have earlier looted. It will now surprises Nigerians to know that the same police officers that has initially done a good job in the handling of the case by first discovering and unveiling all the abnormalities and irregularities done by the crafty IRDC executives and their crony dealers from the delta state government under the previous administration of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and his SSG (Ovuzorie Macaulay) which led to the frozen of all the illegal accounts latter tries to frustrate the case with excuses that the case files are empty and would need fresh statements as the case has been handed over to a new IPO and team to takeover. The aim of the undermined and compromised officers of the law is to deliberately frustrate the progress of the ongoing case by using delay tactics since their invitation to Princess Rita Lori to come over for a negotiation between her and the criminals was declined as she said ” This is not about her as an individual but about Itsekiri as a nation and the people as her flesh and blood also as an elder who believes in the development ,elevation and security of the society which supersede all other personal interests”. Though I am not surprise as Ayiri had earlier boasted before some persons that he got connections to halt the case from proceeding, that by the time him and friends which includes the Austin Onesan Gbokwa and others contributed money for the police, Princess Rita Lori and the entire oppressed Itsekiris will be frustrated as they do not have such money to contest any case with them.
It was by the divine intervention of God almighty Who used Princess Rita Lori to frustrate the plans of the internal collective enemies of Itsekiri lands (Ayiri, Gbokwa, Uduaghan and others) as they have almost succeeded in frustrating Itsekiri from getting justice in collaboration of the police force that suppose to be the custodian of the law . The chairman of the investigation panel who happens to be the AIG in his address said ” The only way peace can be guaranteed in a society anywhere in the world is if justice is delivered to the oppressed, else violence is inevitable as the oppressed will apply their own measure to defend themselves if the authority failed to do the needful and said justice can only be delivered where truth is uphold by the system and that he is readily committed to see justice is delivered to the oppressed Itsekiri people as he ordered that the case should proceed base on the initial statement obtain from various parties which includes the petitioners and the accused knowing that some who earlier made statements has been compromised and willing to give a contradicting statements as they have been bought over.
The AIG then thank the lioness of Niger delta, Princess Rita Lori the Igba of Warri kingdom for her doggedness, honesty in the fight and struggle towards the development and betterment of the Itsekiri people and Niger deltans at large even when some are yet to appreciate what he is doing for them today , he said ” If only the government and other relevant security and justice agencies had done enough in the enforcement of law and order in our society there would have been less trouble in the in our lands by today, therefore promised to do his best possible in ensuring the people of Warri kingdom and Niger delta are happy and we delegates thanked him in return with a hope that he keeps to his promises else we will seek justice by ourselves because when injustice becomes a law then violence and resistant becomes the right of the oppressed.
After the meeting with the AIG which lasted few hours, the Itsekiri delegates in company of our mother (Princess Rita Lori) then proceeded to the office of the Attorney general of the federation at the Ministry of Justice headquarters (Abuja) to have a seal up meeting with the attorney general himself Mr. (Abubakar Malami (SAN) to help the people of Itsekiri nation ensure justice is served for all the wrongs done against their lands by those they entrusted with the power to lead but turned out to be a dealer. Aside issues of our looted funds, other matters as it regards to internal and external injustices were discussed as our mission is to ensure justice is done.
The dreams of Chief Rita Lori is for every sons and daughters of Itsekiri land irrespective of their classes, political affiliations , communities or family belonging to have a fair share from Itsekiri commonwealth as she believes its our right not privilege from man our equal as leaders are meant to serve and not to be served, though is unfortunate that the wealth is only shared and lavish amongst those a few that has deprived the many. The wish of Princess Rita Lori is for Itsskiri to have a reflection of her God given resources and for our lands to be well developed to look like its own mini state in Nigeria, micro nation in west Africa and glorious continent in Africa as she believes there’re plenty enough resources and resourceful people to make that a reality only if the people are willing to workout their liberation.
How I wish only if Itsekiri knows what they have in the person of Chief Rita Lori they would have wished for an Olu of her kind to lead them for she is the David, Chief Nana and others of her time wish we lucky to have even in our own time . Social justice can’t be fully achieved only by media campaign and orientation without walking the talk or on ground combat, but the media creates the needed awareness for the liberation of the people as both the on ground walking talk and media awareness talking talk compliments each other . While others are doing the talking talk some are doing the walking and together we shall succeed in liberating the people and our lands from the oppressors. Note; the society will not be ruined by those that does evil but by the silence of those who watch evil being done opposed. Please do not be a coward, do not act silence is golden for you not different from from the sycophants if you do so, therefore speak and act now to free your generation from becoming a slave in their own lands while you still can. Because one day you will wakeup and suddenly realise you couldn’t do what you should have done yesterday (A word is enough for the wise). This is about the survival of our kingdom and supersedes the enjoyment and peace of the King or leaders for without the kingdom there can’t be a ruler (A word is enough for the wide) Itsekiri do not give birth to a fool but only a fool worship and adores those that had deprived them and their lands developments such as schools, scholarship , healthcare system, roads, electricity, drinking water , industries and jobs including other social basic amenities. Princess Rita Lori has no intention to fight the Olu as an individual , but rather her aim is to build a strong people because if the palace is rich and the people are poor then the throne will be weak.
Conclusively, Ayiri Emami, Austine Onesan Gbokwa and the rest of their allies that has milked Itsekiri collective wealth through the fraudulent agency called Itsekiri Regional development community/council or commission (IRDC) in collaboration with non Itsekiris representing chevron and with legal assistance from an Itsekiri business advocates by name Barr. Robinson Ariyo who pride himself as activist but providing legal services to those that has looted Itsekiri developmental wealth in guise of offering professional services should know that their attempted plans to frustrate Itsekiri nation from getting justice over the atrocities done against Warri kingdom with intent to rubbish the case instituted against them (the disciples and allies ) by Princess Rita Lori on behalf of the oppressed Itsekiri communities which led to the frozen of seven (7) different account with Keystone bank where 2.1Bn meant for the development of Itsekiri lands was siphoned into by the Ayiri administration as chairman IRDC so they can get access to the funds and then shared amongst themselves has been exposed and he (Ayiri Emami) should also have it at the back of his mind that no matter how hard he tries with all his lies and craftiness, he will definitely be the first chief to break records in of Warri kingdom that will be taken to jail in his traditional attires and beads as the crime minister of Ikenwoli’s palace when the time is right. I will therefore advice he (Ayiri) should enjoy while he still can for he may not have a life after the time.
