Aside El Rufai and Sanusi, characters that are so popular with most of you in the south, aside the two of them, I do not see any potential presidents as in the bigot class of Buhari.
The former PDP governor of Jigawa, Lamido. Even at his age, he has not shown any anti south propensities. Namadi Sambo, Saraki, Tambuwal and even Atiku, which of these leaders will not know to work with the full country? Even if they show a bit of human bias to their areas, these men know the gains of alliances. They have won elections leading their campaigns unlike Buhari who was coronated by others doing all the work. Ekweremadu that is there from PDP, is it not politicking that put him there? That is Saraki and his camp showing tactical strength, strategy and reaching out.
So I continue to plead that we should all GO OUT AND REGISTER. Let us keep the WORST ELEMENTS OUT. If we lose the South East votes and El Rufai picks up the extremist votes, there will not be enough moderate votes to stop this man. And if you think a hardliner like El Rufai will “give you referendum” or be for restructuring, pass me your weed. It is strong stuff.
Remember we have some southern shining lights, from Peter Obi to Donald Duke to Fayose to Ngige Fayemi to Fasola Orji Kalu and many others who we know are great administrators, depending on your party and views.
Again, if you are angry at Nigeria these past years, Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan contributed 13 of it and they are southern. And yes they did their best for the country as did Yar Adua. Buhari it is who has brought all the anger to the fore.
So please Register to vote. Do not give the extremist side of the north too much power with an suppressed southern vote
