MUMMY’S HANDS AND DADDY’S EYES

Business

eyesMummy’s hands, soft and tender
Made of nurturing love
Gentle on my body as the evening breeze
At my nascent existence
She discerns my naivety
Smiles at me and cries for me
Caters to my infantile instincts
Pampers my suckling lips
A lullaby cuddles my brain to sleep
Mummy’s hand soft and tender
To my beautiful tantrums
And hard like Steel when am wrong
Daddy’s eyes, handsome in its sockets
Radiates bliss and sanity in the home
A guiding lights descends from a towering height,
Lucent like two sparkling gems
He emits fire-strands of commands
Like swords pierced into my soul
To see the world through his eyes
And emulates his iconic steps
At my tottering days seeking support
I loved to lie on my bed, his broad chest
That shielded and provides comfort till today
Daddy’s eyes sting my stubbornness away
