The Executive Council of the Nigerian Legion, Uvwie Chapter has appointed the Ovie of Uvwie of Kingdom, HRM Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso, Abe 1, JP, OON as their Life Patron.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman, Nigerian Legion, Uvwie Chapter, Chief Robert Akpojovwo said the appointment was in recognition of the the Monarch’s role in ensuring a sustainable peace in Uvwie Kingdom and his fatherly role in uniting all the diverse people of Uvwie being the most cosmopolitan and developed city in Urhobo land.
Speaking on behalf of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, the Usiavwe of Erovie, Chief Rex Eju thanked the Nigerian Legion for the honour adding that he expected all of them to come to the palace formally dressed.
