The Nigerian Air Force has pledged to work with HRM Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso, Abe 1, JP. OON, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom to flush out criminal elements and sustain the peace in the communities.
The Commanding Officer, 320 forward operation base in Effurun, Uvwie, Wing Commander Geoffery Akonye made the pledge at the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom on Friday(25/11/23) when he led a 4-man delegation on a courtesy call to HRM Emmanuel Sideso.
He said he was honoured to receive the traditional blessings of the Uvwie Monarch promising to ensure that there was peace in the Uvwie Kingdom during the Christmas season as well as join other security forces to ensure that workers of Julius Berger who were billed to start the Delta state N78b three flyover bridges in Effurun and environs were protected
Speaking also the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Emmanuel Sideso prayed for the air force officers and urged them to work with the kingdom in identifying and flushing out all criminal elements in the state to sustain the relative peace.
He expressed the imperativeness of join patrol of all the security forces in Uvwie Kingdom and the protection of Julius Berger works who would soon start the three flyover bridges in the communities being their first major contract in the state.
