The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Emmanuel Ekemejewan Sideso, Abe 1, JP. OON has been elected chairman, Urhobo Traditional Rulers Forum(Ukoko R’Ivie R’Urhobo) Worldwde, just as he promised to sustain the promotion of Urhobo unity and interest.
He thanked the traditional rulers for electing him and promised to always lead by example as well as follow the will of the people
Also elected were the Vice Chairman, HRM Solomon Okukeren, Ovie of Arhawarien Kingdom; Secretary, HRM Richard Oghenevwogaga Ebelle Okorefe 1, JP. Ovie of Agbarho-Otor Kingdom; treasurer, HRM Noble Eshemita, Ovie of Oghara Kingdom; Financial Secretary, HRM Okiemute Onajite, Igere 1, Ovie of Ogor Kingdom; Spokesman, HRM Obukowho M. A. Whiskey, JP, Phd, Udurhie 1, Ovie of Great Idjerhe Kingdom
The election which was held at the Orodje of Okpe palace, Orerokpe yesterday was conducted by the Orodje with 18 traditional rulers in attendance
