Nigerians Must Choose Strategic Thinkers As Their Leaders Instead of Dummies if They Desire a Better Future – NNPP Senatorial Candidate

The New Nigerian Peoples Party(NNPC) candidate for Delta South, Commodore Omatseye Nesiama(rtd) has urged Nigerians to choose tested and trusted strategic thinkers with pedigree to represent them in the National Assembly for a better legislation and a progressive nation.

Commodore Nesiama who spoke at a press conference in Warri yesterday stressed the need for a drastic shift in the way things were done in the country in past and said 2023 elections was a perfect opportunity for Nigerians, particularly the youths to take their destiny in their hands and elect strategic and progressive thinkers who have the capacity and ideas to enable Nigeria to be recorded with in the new digital age.

 He promised to provide effective and efficient constituency offices to equitably cover the constituent demography and that this would become a forum for the people to be adequately briefed on developments affecting them as well as their voices heard.

According to him, “Our plan is to facilitate the building of a stronger Delta South by influencing the enlightenment of our great people bringing about a brighter socio-economic outlook. By so doing, we would have less conflicts emanating from mutual suspicion. The prevalence of which has continued to set us back and our detractors benefitting from it.”

Commodore Nesiama stressed that there was no limit to what this generation could achieve. “It is our time to redirect the socio-economic agenda for ourselves and successive generations to come. Become God’s agent of change by joining us in the Hope Restoration Movement today. Let’s work towards these noble ideals by ensuring my Party and Candidature is voted in for renewed hope in the Delta South Senatorial District come 2023.

He pledged to engage with relevant authorities towards the building of more schools in strategic location within the district and raise the quality of educations at levels with a greater emphasis on vocational training skills development to equip the youths with jobs in the future.

Commodore Nesiama is privileged  to be connected by birth to Jakpa as an Uwangue-Ologbotsere descendant, Gbaramatu as a Leigbene-Arifa descendant and Umolo Olomu as an Omotukoli descendant. He under took his early education in Delta State attending the prestigious Government College Ughelli.

He began his military career at the Nigerian Naval College, Onne, as a member of the 5th regular combatant course in June 1984. He is known to have associated very closely and shown uncommon loyalty to friendship while supporting many of his Isoko allies to achieve enviable military, sports and political leadership​

His awards include: Passed Staff Course (psc), Fellowship of the National Defence University, China, (fndu), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Fellow Nigeria Institute of Industrial Security (FNIIS) and Fellowship of the Certified Institute of Shipping of Nigeria (FCIS).

He is decorated with the Forces Service Star (FSS) and Meritorious Service Star (MSS), Distinguished Service Star (DSS), ECOMOG Medal, Silver Jubilee Medal and Golden Jubilee Medal.
