{"id":745,"date":"2014-08-23T09:37:18","date_gmt":"2014-08-23T09:37:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=745"},"modified":"2014-08-23T09:37:18","modified_gmt":"2014-08-23T09:37:18","slug":"police-probe-alleged-attempt-to-shoot-abolurin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=745","title":{"rendered":"Police probe alleged attempt to shoot Abolurin"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"nrelate_flyout_placeholder\">\n<p>The Police have begun investigation into the allegation that one policeman attempted to open fire on the Commandant-General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr Ade Abolurin.<\/p>\n<p>This is contained in a statement issued by DCP Emmanuel Ojukwu, the Force Public Relations Officer, on Friday in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>It said the NSCDC spokesman, Mr Emmanuel Okeh, made the allegation on Friday, saying the incident occurred in Lagos on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe allegation is being investigated by the force and the outcome will be made public soonest.
