{"id":5796,"date":"2015-08-27T04:45:46","date_gmt":"2015-08-27T04:45:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=5796"},"modified":"2015-08-27T04:45:46","modified_gmt":"2015-08-27T04:45:46","slug":"chinese-firm-partners-with-dangote-to-build-4-3bn-cement-factories-across-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=5796","title":{"rendered":"Chinese firm partners with Dangote to build $4.3bn cement factories across Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Chinese state-owned engineering company has signed a deal worth $4.3bn (\u00a32.8bn) to build factories for a Nigerian cement company run by Africa&#8217;s richest man, Aliko Dangote.<br \/>\nChina&#8217;s Sinoma will build seven plants across the continent and one in Nepal.<br \/>\nThe new factories will add around 25 million tonnes to the firm&#8217;s existing cement capacity of 45 million tonnes.<br \/>\nMr Dangote&#8217;s company also produces food, fertiliser and is investing in oil refineries.<br \/>\nHe is keeping a close eye on China&#8217;s economic problems and the ensuing lower oil price.<br \/>\n&#8220;Of course we are affected,&#8221; he said, &#8220;but we are not badly affected because we are not 100% in oil.<br \/>\n&#8220;We are a fully diversified company.
