{"id":5693,"date":"2015-08-20T18:05:10","date_gmt":"2015-08-20T18:05:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=5693"},"modified":"2015-08-20T18:05:10","modified_gmt":"2015-08-20T18:05:10","slug":"nddc-must-account-for-n183bn-auditor-general","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=5693","title":{"rendered":"NDDC must account for N183bn &#8211; Auditor &#8211; General"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Office of Auditor General of the Federation has condemned Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) delay in responding to its alleged mismanagement of N183 billion<a href=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Delta-newsroom-logo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5626\" src=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Delta-newsroom-logo.png\" alt=\"Delta newsroom logo\" width=\"270\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nA statement released by the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation and signed by Ogunmosunle, O.A. for the auditor general complained that \u201cat the time of this Press Release, the NDDC is yet to respond to the Special Periodic Checks.\u201d<br \/>\nThe statement noted that \u201cit took NDDC, 16 months to grant the Office permission to commence the periodic checks beginning from 9th December, 2011 to 6th May, 2013.
