They\u2019re not angry because he caused the flood.
\nThey\u2019re angry because he dared to shout for help first.<\/p>\n
Their argument? \u201cHe shouldn\u2019t call for help because everyone is drowning not only his family.\u201d<\/p>\n
Read that again. Let it sink in.
\nThat is the madness happening in Nigeria today.<\/p>\n
When Sympathy Becomes a Crime<\/p>\n
The moment someone says, \u201cChristians are being massacred,\u201d some Nigerians rush out shouting, \u201cIt\u2019s not only Christians!\u201d as if being victims of the same tragedy is now a competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n What kind of twisted reasoning is that? So because Muslims are also being killed, Christians shouldn\u2019t cry out? Should we all keep quiet and let the country drown because suffering must now be shared equally before it becomes valid?<\/strong><\/p>\n This is not logic it\u2019s lunacy. It\u2019s the mindset of lost people, drowning in hypocrisy, who have turned national tragedy into a political scoreboard.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Leaders Are No Better<\/p>\n Our leaders are busy playing politics over corpses. Nigeria doesn\u2019t rehabilitate victims it rehabilitates killers. It doesn\u2019t comfort widows it empowers warlords. Our politicians care more about 2027 elections than 2025 funerals.<\/p>\n Check their official pages, their handlers and even data boys: defections, rallies, and insults to the opposition. A government that pampers killers and punishes victims is not a government it\u2019s an accomplice.<\/p>\n When a Nation Competes Over Death<\/p>\n The most disturbing part is that ordinary Nigerians are now competing for victimhood. Instead of uniting against terrorists, we argue over who is dying more Muslims or Christians.<\/p>\n That\u2019s not patriotism. That\u2019s collective decay. We have lost our empathy, our humanity, and our sense of justice.<\/p>\n No sane nation debates which of its citizens deserve sympathy. But Nigeria does loudly, shamelessly, and proudly.<\/strong><\/p>\n This is not about religion anymore it\u2019s about conscience. If Christians are killed, speak up.<\/strong> When truth becomes tribal and justice becomes selective, what remains is not a country it\u2019s a graveyard with a flag.<\/strong><\/p>\n And right now, that flag is still flying over ashes. \nIf Muslims are killed, speak up. If anyone is killed, speak up but stop silencing others for speaking first.<\/strong><\/p>\n
