The Managing Director, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Engr. Kestin Pondi has said the company’s decision to rebuild Ugborikoko police station in Uvwie LGA is a mark of its commitment to improve the security of life and property for all residents in Effurun, Warri and its environs just as he vowed to achieve President Tinubu’s vision of 2.06 million barrels per day in 2025<\/p>\n
He spoke during the commissioning of the ultra modern police state today(11\/4\/2025) by IGP Kayode Egbetokun who was represented by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 5, AIG Salma Dogo Garba. The occasion was witnessed by the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso, Abe 1, JP. OON and several other imminent personalities across the country<\/p>\n
Engr Pondi said: “It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I stand before you today on behalf of the Chairman and Board of Directors of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, as we commission the new, purpose-built Ugborikoko Divisional Police Station here in Ugborikoko, Delta State.<\/p>\n
“This occasion is not merely the unveiling of a new building for the police, but a celebration of our shared commitment to safety, security, and community development. As a private security company with local roots and global reach, Tantita SSNL understands that no society can thrive without peace and security.<\/p>\n
“We also know that peace and security is a result of collaboration between the community and the government. And the first line of defense in preserving peace in Nigeria is the Nigeria Police Force. Therefore, our decision to rebuild this police station is a mark of our commitment to rebuild the peace in Warri and improve the security of life and property for all residents in Warri, Effurun, and its environs.<\/p>\n
“I want to take a moment to celebrate the men and women of the Nigerian Police Force who are the unsung heroes of our security. They are the reasons why we chose to invest in this important project \u2014 to give back to the community, and to support the tireless men and women who work daily to keep our neighborhoods safe and secure.
\n“The decision to rebuild the Ugborikoko Divisional Police Station was borne out of a recognition that security infrastructure matters. A secure, functional, and decent work environment boosts morale, enhances operational effectiveness, and strengthens public confidence in law enforcement.
\n“The rebuilt Ugborikoko Divisional Police Headquarters comprises:
\n\u2022 A newly built and fully equipped police station
\n\u2022 A newly constructed Quarter Guard post
\n\u2022 A dedicated generator house
\n\u2022 Drainage construction to ensure a healthy and safe
\nenvironment
\n\u2022 Reconstruction of the existing police hall, giving it a modern
\nand functional design<\/p>\n
Furthermore, in our commitment to ensure functionality and sustainability, we have provided:
\n\u2022 Two Hilux vehicles for operational mobility
\n\u2022 A 30kVA soundproof generator and a 30kVA solar system to
\nensure uninterrupted power supply
\n\u2022 CCTV cameras and computer systems to enhance surveillance
\nand digital operations
\n\u2022 Television sets, air conditioning units, and office printers for
\nadministrative comfort and efficiency
\n\u2022 Fully equipped conference room and interrogation room gadgets to ensure professionalism in both internal operations and investigative procedures<\/p>\n

Speaking also IGP Egbetokun said the building was a significant efforts at strengthening the safety, security and properties of the people of the area adding that the the newly built Police station would bring the Police nearer to the people.<\/p>\n To the officers and men of the Ugborikoko Division,IGP Egbetokun said,”This will serve as a place for more than just a aplace to work to the Police.”<\/p>\n The IGP also noted that the donation also reflects not only a commitment to the well being of the community but also a deep trust in the role the police force plays in maintaining peace, law and order.<\/p>\n In a welcome address, the Ugborikoko Divisional Police Officer(DPO), CSP Omosetemi Agbede Zuokumor(Mrs.) said: “This project reflects a substantial investment in our police assets, and I am excited about the opportunities it presents for collaboration with our community. \n“This is a testament to the improvement in productivity that better security can guarantee for any nation and every sector of the economy. In 2022 when we came on the scene, Nigeria\u2019s oil production was limited to just under 700,000 barrels per day. Today we are celebrating 1.7 million barrels per day (without adding condensates), an improvement of well over 1 million barrels per day. Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited is also committed to Mr. President’s vision of 2.06 million barrels per day by 2025 and 4 million barrels per day by 2030.<\/strong>
\n“As it stands, we are well within reach of 2 million barrels per day of crude oil (without adding condensates), if all stakeholders work together to improve the utilization of the current infrastructure. We call on operators and injectors to improve pipeline utilization, especially in those areas where barging operations are still ongoing.
\nWe commend all the Governors in the Niger Delta region for their cooperation in securing our nation\u2019s oil and gas infrastructure while requesting them to continue to support Tantita\u2019s operations in their respective domains. The Federal accounts allocation to all oil-producing states has risen remarkably in the past 36 months as a result of the collaboration between the Federal Government, the State Government, and the private security companies.
\n“As we hand over this facility today, we want Nigerians to know that this is a product of the collaboration between communities, governments, and the private sector to improve security and economic production. If we improve our security situation across the entire Federation, our economic productivity will improve and it will deliver infrastructural development just like the one we are seeing today, all over the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n“Finally, we want to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his unwavering commitment to our region, the security of our people, and its resources to the benefit of our Nation. We also want to thank the leadership and management of NNPC for giving Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited the opportunity to contribute to National progress.<\/p>\n
