All is set for the teaching of the Uvwie Language in all schools in the local government area next term as the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso, Abe 1, JP. OON yesterday(30\/12\/2024) formally launched the Delta state government approved\u00a0 “Structured Teaching – Leaning Guide, Uvwie Scheme of Work”<\/p>\n
Launching the Uvwie Scheme of work, HRM Sideso who describe the event as historic said this would be the beginning of another transformation and progress for Uvwie Kingdom which was delayed over time due to the non-availability of Uvwie language text books.<\/p>\n
The Monarch thanked all those who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the book despite all difficulties and advise those who did not want the peaceful progress of Uvwie to have a change of heart.<\/p>\n
The Uvwie Language Committee Chairman, Eng. Chief Sunny Daboner who gave a brief history of the evolution of the writing of the text book, thanked the Delta State, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom for his commitment, moral and financial support to ensure the success of the project and various Uvwie indigenes who contributed in one way of the other. Other members of the committee included Chief Fedelix Adjeke ( JP ) Chief Abraham Edjedegba Kukuru, Ruth Kukuru, Ishagberi ,Sam Kukuru and Mrs Ruth Daboner<\/p>\n
