{"id":29733,"date":"2024-03-03T00:29:17","date_gmt":"2024-03-03T00:29:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=29733"},"modified":"2024-03-03T05:43:15","modified_gmt":"2024-03-03T05:43:15","slug":"tompolo-inducted-into-niger-delta-hall-of-fame-says-we-cant-fold-our-hands-and-allow-some-persons-to-sabotage-nations-economy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=29733","title":{"rendered":"Tompolo Inducted Into Niger Delta Hall of Fame, Says &#8220;We Can&#8217;t Fold Our Hands And Allow Some Persons Sabotage Nation&#8217;s Economy&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=19271&amp;ad_type=81&amp;rl=1800\" width=\"336\" height=\"280\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF), today(2\/3\/2024) inducted High Chief Government Ekpomupolo aka Tompolo into the DOPF Niger Delta Media Hall of Fame.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The official induction was performed at Oporoza, the traditional Headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri Southwest Local Government Area of Delta State.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Speaking on the occasion,\u00a0 DOPF Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli, ANIPR, noted that it was sequenced to an overwhelming vote of the people of the Niger Delta Region in an Online poll, conducted within a period of four months beginning from June 2021 &#8211; October 2021.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Enebeli said Ekpemupolo&#8217;s selection for this prestigious Honour was also based on his uncommon struggles and determinations towards the liberation of the Niger Delta Region from economic and environmental degradation, political and social marginalization, and stagnation.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>The official induction and presentation were done by the DOPF&#8217;s Board of Trustee (BoT) Chairman, Chief Omafume Amurun.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In his response, Chief Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, who appreciated members of the DOPF in a piece recognizing his good stands and inducting him into the Niger Delta Media Hall of Fame, said his Award and recognition should spur others to rise up to defend and protect Government properties and facilities within their territory.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He appealed to Nigerians to join hands to move this country forward because there&#8217;s no other country.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">According to Chief Government Ekpemupolo, &#8220;I don&#8217;t have any other place except Nigeria.
