{"id":24215,"date":"2020-04-06T21:50:42","date_gmt":"2020-04-06T21:50:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=24215"},"modified":"2020-04-06T21:55:01","modified_gmt":"2020-04-06T21:55:01","slug":"covid-19-lockdown-tompolo-foundation-donates-food-to-gbaramatu-communities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=24215","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 Lockdown: Tompolo Foundation Donates Food to Gbaramatu Communities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=19271&amp;ad_type=81&amp;rl=1800\" width=\"336\" height=\"280\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">THE Tompolo Foundation, a brain child of former Niger Delta agitator,\u00a0 High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, a.k.a Tompolo, has donated food items worth several millions of Naira to Gbaramatu Communities of Warri South West Area of Delta State to cushion the effects of the 14 days locked down over the Coronavirus pandemic.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, Executive Secretary,\u00a0 Tompolo Foundation who made the donation to the Communities represented by their Chairmen in Warri said:\u00a0 &#8220;These are trying times and everyone is suffering from the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic one way or the other. The foundation has come to identify with the pains of our people.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;Our founder is a passionate lover of his people, despite the challenges, we decided to show our concern and love. We know that these food items cannot meet the needs of all but it is a succour in such times.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;We urge the Chairmen to distribute the items to their people to alleviate their pains. We urged them to abide religiously to the declaration of our dear Governor.\u00a0 We thank the government for taking proactive steps to stem the spread of the virus.
