{"id":22284,"date":"2019-05-27T20:08:10","date_gmt":"2019-05-27T20:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=22284"},"modified":"2019-05-27T20:08:10","modified_gmt":"2019-05-27T20:08:10","slug":"police-arrest-suspect-behind-the-disappearance-of-about-31-persons-in-past-decade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=22284","title":{"rendered":"Police Arrest Suspect Behind the Disappearance of About 31 Persons in Past Decade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><code><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=18829&amp;ad_type=81&amp;rl=1800\" width=\"336\" height=\"280\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/code><\/p>\n<h3>Houston police have arrested a man believed to be behind the disappearance\u00a0of no less than 31 persons this past decade.<\/h3>\n<p>Ivan Fedorovitch\u00a0Yanukovych, 56, could be linked\u00a0to a number of mysterious disappearances\u00a0in the area believe officials.<\/p>\n<p>Yanukovych was interrogated by police after neighbors complained about him using a chainsaw late at night and reported the man being\u00a0\u201ccovered in blood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When police arrived on the scene,\u00a0Yanukovych was found butchering a dead body in his\u00a0garage and preparing what police officers described as \u201clarge quantities of ground meat\u201d mixed in with an \u201caromatic blend of spices.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><em>\u201cThe suspect admitted to preying on unsuspecting delivery men from local restaurants, several postmen and even a number of Jehovah\u00a0witnesses,\u201d Assistant Chief Jeff Buchanan told reporters.<\/em><\/h3>\n<h3><em>\u201cI never suspected he was a mass murderer. He would often invite all the neighbors to watch football at his house and host large barbecues for everybody and was super friendly,\u201d one neighbor told reporters.<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Yanukovych, 56, who lives with his mother, Anastasia Z. Yanukovych, 93, and who rents the house basement to a local student, seemed to blend into the community and never arouse suspicion from neighbors.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe was in charge of organizing our\u00a0yearly spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the past five years and was a key player in the community. I am in utter disbelief\u201d one local YMCA administrative told reporters.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>When interrogated by authorities,\u00a0Yanukovych apparently showed some remorse about killing the delivery men and postmen who were \u201cjust doing their job\u201d but said the Jehovah witnesses \u201creally annoyed him\u201d and wished he had \u201ctaken more out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tom Duvall, a local Jehovah witness organization spokesman, said that he is relieved that \u201cmembers\u00a0of our local chapter can now feel safe\u201d and that \u201cthese courageous souls have not ended in this vile man\u2019s belly, but in God\u2019s belly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If convicted of his crimes, Ivan Fedorovitch\u00a0Yanukovych faces a maximum prison sentence of 2,675 years in jail, believe experts.(worldnewsdailyreport.com)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=18829&amp;ad_type=81&amp;rl=1800\" width=\"336\" height=\"280\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Houston police have arrested a man believed to be behind the disappearance\u00a0of no less than 31 persons this past decade.
