{"id":20643,"date":"2018-11-01T21:45:51","date_gmt":"2018-11-01T21:45:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=20643"},"modified":"2018-11-01T21:45:51","modified_gmt":"2018-11-01T21:45:51","slug":"again-boko-haram-on-wednesday-razed-down-four-villages-in-borno-kills-eight-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=20643","title":{"rendered":"Again Boko Haram on Wednesday Razed Down Four Villages in Borno, Kills Eight People"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- www.newsroom247.com.ng --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2163942495525027\" data-ad-slot=\"1411897411\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>Eight people have been confirmed dead by the\u00a0<strong>National Emergency Management Agency<\/strong>, NEMA, after suspected\u00a0<strong>Boko Haram<\/strong>\u00a0insurgents attacked four villages in the outskirts of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.<\/p>\n<p>The attack was reported to have occurred during the late hours of Wednesday at Bulabirin, Gworzari, Kofa and Ngomari Kiriri communities along Bama to Maiduguri highway.<\/p>\n<p>NEMA, while speaking on the incident in a statement through its Zonal Director,\u00a0<strong>Bashir Garga<\/strong>, revealed that eight persons were killed in the attack on the IDP camps.<\/p>\n<p>Garga, revealed that the terrorists gained access to the IDP camps through a bush path behind the four villages in four vehicles and motorcycles.<\/p>\n<p>He, however, assured that the area has been contained by security operatives as some villagers who ran to IDP camps for protection have returned to their homes while the injures ones are being attended to. In his statement he said;<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Many villagers fled to the Dalori IDP camp for safety which led to an attack on the camp vicinity which claimed the lives of two IDPs making a total of 8 people dead.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><code><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=17119&amp;ad_type=64&amp;rl=180\" width=\"300\" height=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/code><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cTerrorists gained access to the area through a bush path behind the villages and came in four vehicles and some motorcycles. They ransacked the market in front of the IDP camp.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cVillagers who ran into the bush for safety have returned back to their homes while the Borno State Fire Service have contained the inferno. The injured have been treated in the camp clinic while serious cases were evacuated to hospitals in Maiduguri.
