Some of the new projects inserted by the National Assembly have not been properly conceptualized, designed and costed and will therefore be difficult to execute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Also, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, chairman, senate committee on power, steel development and metallurgy, has said N30 billion was smuggled into the power budget.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He said the N30 billion was listed for expansion and re-enforcement of infrastructure in the distribution companies to reduce stranded firms.<\/p>\n<p>The senator said his committee was not aware of the insertion.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cThe amount never passed through the senate power committee. Where did such huge sum of N30 billion come from?<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=16500&amp;ad_type=59&amp;rl=180\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet the budget office and other relevant bodies conduct self examination.
