We have moved from a position where we were producing under 1 million bpd to our full capabilities, he stated.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"9lm87-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"9lm87-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"9lm87-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"aq9rb-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"aq9rb-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"aq9rb-0-0\">He, however, noted that \u201cthe clean energy focus is beginning to make irrelevant the vast oil reserves many countries have\u201d.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"dq1vv-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"dq1vv-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"dq1vv-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"7l1jp-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"7l1jp-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"7l1jp-0-0\">In his goodwill message at the summit, Dr. Maikanti Baru, the Group Managing Director (GMD) of NNPC opined that the after 6 decades of petroleum exploration and exploitation in Nigeria, the summit is long overdue.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"eqovi-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"eqovi-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"eqovi-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"50mgj-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"50mgj-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"50mgj-0-0\">\u201cAfter 6 decades of petroleum exploration and exploitation in Nigeria, this event is long overdue. However, as the popular saying goes, it is better late than never.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"8o93-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"8o93-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"8o93-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"20m84-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"20m84-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"20m84-0-0\">\u201cAfrican countries need to collaborate amongst each other not only in terms of oil\/gas but in other key sectors. I call on all to utilize the networking opportunities towards forming strategic partnerships to better our industry and our economies,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"dipa9-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"dipa9-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"dipa9-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"2v0n1-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"2v0n1-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"2v0n1-0-0\">\u201cFuel scarcity is a pricing related issue and the government believes it is its duty to supply the nation. We have some issues with marketers.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"1m4r9-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"1m4r9-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"1m4r9-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"dt5r6\" data-offset-key=\"865q-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"865q-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"865q-0-0\">\u201cWe have been flooding the market. The marketers have asked that we flood the market.
