Chief Ideh said in a statement that he will missed late Ugbaja who he described as one of his dependable friend for over 10 years now.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Chief Ideh, an octogenarian, and former member of the House of Representatives(1979\/83) as well as statutory Delta APC executive member wishes the Ugbaja&#8217;s family the strength to bear the loss of their father and his loyal friend<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Also Governor Okowa, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu, described the late Ugbaja as a complete gentleman, a thorough bred officer, who contributed his own quota to serving his country and humanity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Governor Okowa, while commiserating with the family of the late elder statesman, urged them to uphold the ideals he stood for, saying that the nation will continue to draw inspiration from his life and times.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cHis demise, at this time is not only painful but regrettable, adding \u201cthe late Ugbaja paid his dues and has left his footprints on the sands of time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cOn behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I want to express our heartfelt condolence to the family of DIG Donald Ugbaja, the people of Igbodo community and the Ika nation on this great and irreparable loss. He was a pride to the Ika nation and we will surely miss him,\u201d Governor Okowa said.<\/p>\n<div id=\"quads-ad1\" class=\"quads-location quads-ad1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In his condolences message, Prof. Pat Utomi, who was in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia when the news of the passage of the DIG Ugbaja broke said, \u201ca decent and gentle soul has left the stage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=15268&amp;ad_type=59&amp;rl=180\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">He stated further that the sudden demise of DIG Chief Donald Ugbaja (Rtd), the Ozomor of Owa Kingdom, and leader of the APC family in Ika North-East has come as a very grave shock.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In his word: \u201cWhat a loss. The last time I was in Agbor two weeks ago I kept calling to confirm he was in so I could visit him. A decent and gentle soul has left the stage.
