{"id":16651,"date":"2017-11-02T21:42:38","date_gmt":"2017-11-02T21:42:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=16651"},"modified":"2017-11-02T21:42:38","modified_gmt":"2017-11-02T21:42:38","slug":"kogi-labour-leader-abdulmumini-yakub-assassinated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=16651","title":{"rendered":"KOGI LABOUR LEADER, ABDULMUMINI YAKUB ASSASSINATED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><code><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- www.deltanewsroom.com --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2163942495525027\" data-ad-slot=\"1411897411\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/code><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The ongoing efforts to resolve the crisis rocking the Kogi State civil service recorded a major setback on Thursday as the organised labour suspended the negotiations between it and the state government.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This was sequel to the murder of the State Chairman of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, Science and Technology Education Board, Abdulmumini Yakub.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=14892&amp;ad_type=74&amp;rl=180\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Yakub was allegedly murdered at Ozuwaya, in Okene Local Area of Kogi State alongside one Ibrahim Otaru who reportedly came to discuss some community issues with him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Sources close to the family disclosed to our Correspondent that the two men were murdered by heavily armed men when they were performing ablution for prayer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The source added that five suspected assassins alighted from a Toyota Sienna bus and opened fire on them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The gunmen allegedly ensured that the victims were dead before they drove off from the scene.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cMallam Abdulmumin Yakub was at Ozuwaya in front of his house when he was killed by unknown gunmen.
