Ojukwu, in an<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">attempt to please Gambaris, fought Isaac Boro for<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">14 days within which he used federal might of<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;one-Nigeria&#8221; to kill 150 soldiers loyal to Isaac<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Boro, caught Isaac Boro, stripped him naked and<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">sent him over to Lagos where Ironsi charged him<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">to court and within just 2 months got him<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">convicted, at the Supreme Court, of treasonable<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">felony of trying to break away from Azikiwe&#8217;s one<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Nigeria, got him sentenced to death by hanging.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">While Ironsi\u200b and Ojukwu did all that to Isaac Boro\u200b,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">they left untouched their own Igbo brother<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">soldiers who planned a coup with which they<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">killed Innocent Hausas, Yorubas, Niger Deltans,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Middle belters leaving Igbo politicians unharmed<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">despite they, like Zik and Okpara, were part and<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">parcel of the corrupt Balewa government.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">However, before Ojukwu and Ironsi could execute<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">their sentence on Isaac Boro God intervened and<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">the counter coup happened. Ironsi was<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">overthrown and killed.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=13985&amp;ad_type=59&amp;rl=180\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Gowon took over declared Isaac Boro innocent<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">and released him. But just\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1583995418\"><span class=\"aQJ\">fifteen months later<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ojukwu too declared Biafra Republic due to the<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">way Igbos were being killed in the North. In<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">declaring Biafra, rather than first apologise to<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Isaac Boro for what he earlier did to him and then<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">ask for his cooperation in fighting to realize the<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Biafra dream, Ojukwu did nothing like that but<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">without consulting Boro at all went as far as<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">arrogantly including in his Biafra map the very<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Niger Delta areas which Isaac Boro earlier tried to<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">pull out of Nigeria and which he (Ojukwu) nearly<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">killed him for.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">This angered Isaac Boro and Ken Saro Wiwa who<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">both pledged support for Gowon in order to teach<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ojukwu a bitter lesson for his arrogance and<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">dishonesty. That was why Isaac Boro and Saro<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Wiwa fought on the side of Gowon during the war.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Naturally Isaac Boro couldn&#8217;t have come out of<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">prison to join the Ojukwu who jailed him and fight<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">against the Gowon who released him. It would<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">have been absurd. No rational human being does<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">that.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">This is the truth of what happened and which<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Igbos hate to hear but prefer to blame everyone<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">else as if they themselves were 100\u2105 innocent.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Igbos must learn to say the truth because if the<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Biafra\/Niger Delta Republic they now seek is<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">founded on lies and deliberate falsehood, like<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Nigeria, it will not stand but will soon become a<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">failed state like Nigeria.
