{"id":14218,"date":"2017-05-03T22:53:33","date_gmt":"2017-05-03T22:53:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=14218"},"modified":"2017-05-03T22:57:12","modified_gmt":"2017-05-03T22:57:12","slug":"nigeria-troops-burn-down-militant-leaders-home-town-in-ondo-kill-several-people-including-women-and-children-and","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=14218","title":{"rendered":"NIGERIA TROOPS BURN DOWN MILITANT LEADER&#8217;S HOME TOWN IN ONDO KILL SEVERAL PEOPLE INCLUDING WOMEN AND CHILDREN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Soldiers of Joint Task Force, code-named Operation DELTA SAFE on today(3\/5\/2017)<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"> invaded the home town of militants leader, &#8216;General&#8217; Ossey Ibori who was killed over the weekend in gun battle with troops.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>Multiple sources from Ajakpa community on Wednesday raised the alarm that the community was under attack by army who deployed over seven gun boats to the riverine community in Arogbo Kingdom, Ese-Odo Local Government Area, Ondo State.<\/p>\n<p><code><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- www.deltanewsroom.com --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2163942495525027\" data-ad-slot=\"1411897411\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/code><\/p>\n<p>Unconfirmed reports say many have been allegedly killed by troops who invaded the town at the wee hours of the day while others including children and women are trapped.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, human rights group, Foundation for Human Rights and Anti-corruption Crusade, FHRACC in a statement by its National President, Alaowei Ebikonbowei Cleric, a lawyer confirming the development, called on President Mohammadu Buhari, the National Assembly and the international community to call the military to stop the reported carnage.<\/p>\n<p>FHRACC, quoting a source said that the Military are currently burning down the community saying &#8220;They first came yesterday (Tuesday) around 5: pm to burn about five houses in the Community. Again, they are back to the Community today around 10: am this morning and have being destroying the town without any resistance.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is likely human casualties, especially the defenceless women, children and the aged ones in an unimaginable proportion. The world should rise in defence of the Ajakpa people. The military high command should call their boys to order before they commit genocide&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=13071&amp;ad_type=59&amp;rl=180\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is what we have been saying that there is a sinister plan to wipe out all Niger Delta communities in order to protect their oil interest. The Government value the oil more than the people of Niger Delta&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Why must Ajakpa Community be sacrificed for the sins of one man? The invasion is beyond the criminal syndicate that has been terrorising Lagos and environs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is purely an act of aggression against innocent and peace-loving Nigerians. The Nigerian government is manifesting its evil agenda against the people of the Niger Delta&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is no justification for this gross abuse of human rights. The Ajakpa people have the right to life and must be protected by all asundry&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The late Sea Piracy kingpin has been on the wanted list of security operatives until he was killed in a shoot out by the JTF on the 31th April, 2017&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Now that the security agencies have successfully killed the said criminal, we do not know the reason why the military decided to bomb his hometown?
