Gen. T. Y Danjuma and a DNA test to determine the paternity of Mr.Tikari Danjuma. Below is his experience when he visited the DSS office in Abuja<\/p>\n<p>ON 13th February I was at the agency to see my clients Mr. Tikari Danjuma and Mr. Jacob Sonoma who has been in the DSS custody since the 9th of January, 2017 till date.<\/p>\n<p>The officials did every thing to frustrate my seeing him. They requested for formal application I was handy with it only for tham to say the application must be approved by the DG. What are my clients offense?<\/p>\n<p><code><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=12418&amp;ad_type=59&amp;rl=180\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/code><\/p>\n<p>1. Tikari Danjuma was alleged to have impersonated to be the son of Lt. Gen T.Y Danjuma upon which he was appointed as the Coordinator of the Niger Delta riverine protection programme to work directly with the Niger Delta Minister.<\/p>\n<p>2. That Jacob was his aide. Upon the revelation I have had to furnish the agency via a petition annexed with a photograph that Matthew Danjuma upon the confirmation of his status as Danjuma son went to see Danjuma&#8217;s who sent a delegation to the Ebriede in Ukwani local government in 2015. A delegation that was led by the chairman of Tako LGA of Taraba state to perform a posthumous traditional rite for Matthew Danjuma mom and they were issued a marriage certificate and changed his name to Tikari Danjuma. He was given a parcel of land in Taraba which he is developing before his arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Irrespective of who the complainant of the DSS is, the only investigation to prove a paternity dispute in modern civilization is a DNA test which our client is ready to submit to under the supervision of his doctor but certainly not while in chains.<\/p>\n<p>We demand for his immediate release as his continuous detention is a gross violation of his fundamental right. Suffice to state several persons especially of Ijaw extraction are languishing in custody as they are kept incommunicado in a 13feet underground cell upon flimsy allegations arising from very personal dispute. They are locked up and not taken to court nor granted bail.
