{"id":13280,"date":"2017-02-08T21:12:25","date_gmt":"2017-02-08T21:12:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=13280"},"modified":"2017-02-08T21:12:25","modified_gmt":"2017-02-08T21:12:25","slug":"delta-online-publishers-forum-inaugurated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/?p=13280","title":{"rendered":"Delta Online Publishers Forum Inaugurated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><code><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- www.deltanewsroom.com --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2163942495525027\" data-ad-slot=\"1411897411\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/code><\/p>\n<p>At an inaugural meeting of online publishers in Delta State, held at Niko Palace, Oghara, Ethiope West LGA, attended by 11 notable online publishers, the group unanimously agreed to form a new media platform, called Delta Online Publishers Forum, (DOPF).<\/p>\n<p>The members of the Forum (DOPF) also appointed Enebeli Emmanuel, publisher of www.ndokwarepoters.com and Shedrack Onitsha, Publisher, www.advocateng.com as interim Chairman and Secretary, and Kparobo Markons, Publisher, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunreporters.com\">www.sunreporters.com<\/a> as Organizing Secretary.<\/p>\n<p><code><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=12333&amp;ad_type=59&amp;rl=180\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/code><\/p>\n<p>The interim executive was mandated to amongst other things: draw up the aims and objectives of the forum, the forum\u2019s constitution and code of conduct for members.<\/p>\n<p>The forum urged members to uphold ethical standard of journalism in their reportage, by ensuring that their stories are credible, balance and objective.<\/p>\n<p>They also agreed to affiliate to other similar national bodies where applicable and also synergizes with the Nigeria Union of Journalist, Delta State Council to enforce profession ethics among online publishers in Delta State, in order to check the activities of quacks masquerading as online publishers.<\/p>\n<p>Online publishers present the meeting includes: \u00a0Enebeli Emmanuel, publisher, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ndokwarepoters.com\">www.ndokwarepoters.com<\/a>; Ebule Anthony, publisher, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freshangleng.com\">www.freshangleng.com<\/a>; Chukwudi Abiandu, publisher, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bannermedianetwork.blogspot.com\">www.bannermedianetwork.blogspot.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Others are;
