When the truth is<br \/>\nmurdered, hoodwinked, hara-kiried and suppressed in any collectivity<br \/>\nit stimulates the instant death of peace redounding to war.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Within the context of usage, war is the unleashing of violent martial,<br \/>\npolitical, socio-economic, religious, cultural etc. hostilities<br \/>\nagainst another individual, nation or collectivity. War is fighting,<br \/>\nexpedition, crusade, jihad, insurgency, terrorism, armed conflict,<br \/>\nbattle, rebellion, revolution, uprising, offensive insurrection and<br \/>\nattack etc.<\/p>\n<p><code><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=11937&amp;ad_type=59&amp;rl=180\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/code><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Peloponnesians wars, the 100 days war, the First and Second World<br \/>\nWars, the battle of tondibi, the Nigeria\/Biafra Civil War(1967-1970),<br \/>\nthe Rwanda, Burundi, Sudan, Sierra-Leone, Mali, Chad, Central African<br \/>\nRepublic, Islamic State (IS), Al-Shaba, Boko Haram, Al-Qaeda, Shite,<br \/>\nSunni Religious Wars, Libya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Yemen,<br \/>\nRussia, America, Egypt, North and South Korea, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait,<br \/>\nMiddle East, India, Libya, Ukraine, China\/Taiwan, Pakistan,<br \/>\nBangladesh, Philippines, Afghanistan, Syria Wars have turned our world<br \/>\ninto an oubliette of doom, death, disease, quagmire and an apocalyptic<br \/>\ndungeon of hopelessness.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Wars have plunged and will continue to plunge mankind into the abyss<br \/>\nand labyrinth of arrested development. It is the proverbial vulture of<br \/>\nour world waiting to consume the carcasses of the dead. It brings out<br \/>\nand unleashes brutish bestialities, sanguinary proclivities,<br \/>\nNeanderthal brigandage, belligerent lunacy and genocidal decimations<br \/>\non helpless children, women and innocent men etc.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In the 21st century that boost of so-called modern civilization, with<br \/>\nover 300,000 universities, over 1 billion Christians, 2 billion<br \/>\nMuslims Buddhist, Hindus and nominal Traditionalists etc. It is a<br \/>\nshame and a cadaverous disgrace that wars still remains the major<br \/>\nmeans and ways of settling our differences. O\u2019 what a hypocritical<br \/>\nWorld! Seeing the evil of war the essayist Dr Finley Peter Dunne<br \/>\n(1867-1937) posited in his book \u2018WAR and WAR MAKERS\u2019 that \u201cI wish it<br \/>\ncould be fixed up, so the men that start the wars could do the<br \/>\nFighting\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- www.deltanewsroom.com --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2163942495525027\" data-ad-slot=\"1411897411\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Late Biafra war General Emeka Odumegu Ojukwu observed in his book<br \/>\n\u2018Because Am Involved\u2019 that \u201cNobody Likes blood-letting, one would<br \/>\ncertainly wish there were no more wars in all parts of the world,<br \/>\nbecause no war in history has ever solved the problem it set out to<br \/>\nsolve, eventually, whatever solution there is, emerges from a<br \/>\nconference table, and not from the battle field. It is only those who<br \/>\nhave not been involved in a war that will always push war as the first<br \/>\nsolution to any problem. War does not solve, it cowers but the problem<br \/>\nremains\u201d.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The people of Ife-Modakeke, Urhobo \/ Itsekiri\/ Ijaw, Tiv-Igala, Boko<br \/>\nHaram insurgents etc seem not to have learnt their lessons about the<br \/>\nfutility and negative consequences of war. The People that cause the<br \/>\nwar and set the stage for the war do not fight. It is the common man,<br \/>\nthe flotsams and jetsam and the poor downtrodden that die in reckless<br \/>\nbattles. Hence, the statesman Winston Churchill (1874-1965) said that<br \/>\n\u201cLittle did we guess that what has been called the century of the<br \/>\ncommon man would witness as its outstanding feature more common men<br \/>\nkilling each other five centuries together in the history of the<br \/>\nWorld\u201d.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">But in very rare cases when painstaking, mindboggling, intensively<br \/>\nSaber-rattling and doggedly consummate dispute resolution and schism<br \/>\nmanagement alternatives has been exhaustively explored and exploited,<br \/>\nmen could be reluctantly compelled to resort to war in self-protection<br \/>\nand self-preservation. But it is the established philosophy of the<br \/>\nstoics and pacifists thinkers that on no ground and condition must war<br \/>\nbe fought. But Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) in his book \u2018Mein Kampf\u2019 said<br \/>\n\u201cit must be thoroughly understood that the lost land will never be won<br \/>\nback by solemn appeals to the good God, nor by hopes in any League of<br \/>\nNations, but by the force of arms\u201d and George Washington (1732-1799)<br \/>\nsaid that \u201cto be prepared for war is one of the most effectual means<br \/>\nof preserving peace\u201d.
