The management of DESOPADEC in connivance with the governor defend their action based on a skewed provision in the Commission&#8217;s constitution which mandates the Board to apply the fund accruable to it in any way they deem fit.<br \/>\nIt must be realized that there are other Deltans from Urhobo Nationality who are publishers of different mass media houses but the present management of the board of DESOPADEC has refused to extend the patronage to these other publishers who have been involved in the promotion of the cause of the Commission. You could see new Toyota buses with the inscriptions &#8220;Donated To AIT by DESOPADEC&#8221; criss-crossing the length and breadth of the Urhobo nation.<br \/>\nIt is painful that fund accruable to Kokori Community for example, an age-long oil and gas producing community which suffered the wrath of Biafran air bombardments during the civil war for the sake of oil and gas located in that area, is being used to fund a private university in Oghara, a private newspaper belonging to Ibori and AIT where Ibori also hold majority share.<br \/>\nTo address this injustice, the board of DESOPADEC and the governor, Senator must as a matter of urgency:<br \/>\n1). Calculate how much have been spent on AIT, Daily Independent and Western Delta University so far, and pay such equal fund to other oil producing communities in Delta Central for development of infrastructure.<br \/>\n2). The fund must also include interest accruable over the period which the Commission has been defrauding other Urhobo oil and gas producing communities.<br \/>\nNote that if the Commission and Gov.
