Payment of workers\u2019 salaries energises the economy.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alternativeadvert.com\/show.php?z=30&amp;pl=10575&amp;ad_type=59&amp;rl=180\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe saw this recession early and made agriculture one of the pillars of our administration. This is why we have been paying our workers. It is wicked to owe workers at a time like this.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople should embrace risk management. That is the solution to disaster, especially in a recession.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo recession lasts less than 18 months, so we need to wake up. The naira is moving to N500 per dollar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to secure our certificates and other valuables of ours so that nothing will happen to them overnight. That\u2019s the way to survive in a recession.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The governor, however, observed that the people of the South-East geopolitical zone had not been paying attention to insurance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy expectation is that our people will be better informed about disaster and its management after listening to the various speakers at this summit,\u201d Obiano said.
