Its fractional reserve banking in itself not a scam by financial institutions which include SEC members business model and activities because you use money which is not yours sometimes without the consent of the owners of these money under their custody and lend it out on high interest rates and give the original owners little for their own money. We are aware that many CEOs and stakeholders of financial institutions are behind this there are using SEC as an avenue, but Nigerian are wiser by the day.<br \/>\nSEC is crying because nobody wants to invest in shares, bonds and all what have they, tell me why should people invest in those products when at the end of the day these so called registered entities believed to be regulated by SEC still cants manage people\u2019s investment with them and end up giving low returns on the investment. We have seen how SEC has failed Nigerian; most shares in Nigeria has lose value to nothing still under the so call \u201cwatchful eye\u201d of SEC and the irony of this whole thing is that the CEOs and stakeholders of these institutions are still sharing profits among themselves, taking trips overseas with their families as though nothing has happen and now they can&#8217;t have profits and benefits since people no longer wants to bye their products anymore hence they are calling MMM a scam.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/MMM.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-11302\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11302\" src=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/MMM-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"MMM\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/MMM-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/MMM.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Have you not been getting SMS or emails from banks and most of these financial institutions asking you to save some money with them and qualify for some kind of promo, have you ever seen anyone that has won these promos. They are actually trying to generate capitals for their selfish interest. Bottom line is when they fail, out of their incompetency and people lose their hard earn investments they look for what to blame it on, these are the thieves on investors and tax payers.<br \/>\nIt is their lack of knowledge of what a ponzi scheme is and what MMM operation is, hence they call MMM a ponzi scheme. MMM is not a ponzi scheme and her operations can never fall under a ponzi scheme.<\/p>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\" async=\"\"><\/script><br \/>\n <!-- www.deltanewsroom.com --><br \/>\n <ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2163942495525027\" data-ad-slot=\"1411897411\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\/\/ <![CDATA[\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><\/p>\n<p>When people get involve in cooperatives or if you may call it &#8220;Osusu&#8221; and whatever activities that they do to better all members of their cooperative, do they have to involve SEC or register with SEC? MMM is a state-of-the act Osusu or cooperatives. Because if SEC can\u2019t regulate other and every cooperatives or osusu groups that operations in Nigeria, then they can&#8217;t regulate the activities of MMM because MMM falls into these like.<br \/>\nI have asked and have gone through the laws as covered by Nations and also Nigeria, and I have not seen where being a philanthropist is illegal, because if it is all philanthropist all over the world and in Nigeria would have to be called fraudsters, may be in this case &#8220;Offline Fraudsters&#8221;<br \/>\nInstead of SEC and the Government of the day to be happy that Nigerian has found means of a better livelihood since they have failed to secure her citizen by providing for them, they are there calling MMM scam when they themselves are the scam and fraudsters.
