Akotebe Darikoro, for the alleged mastermind of a hoaxed plan to overthrow President Muhammad Buhari by the military.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/general.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-10303\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-10303\" src=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/general-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"general\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/general-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/general.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>A statement issued by an official of the service, Mr Tony Opuiyo in Abuja on Saturday said Abari was arrested in Yenagoa on July 21.<\/p>\n<p>Opuiyo described the suspect as the leader of the Joint Revolutionary Council of the Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force ( JNDLF).<\/p>\n<p>He said that Abari had confessed to other criminal activities which included a threat to launch missile attacks on selected targets in Abuja and Aso Rock.<\/p>\n<p>Others include writing threat messages to the management of the Nigeria Agip Oil Company (NAOC) and the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) demanding for N500 million and N250 million respectively.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the suspect also masterminded the vandalism of NAOC trunk line in Ogboinbiri, Southern Ijaw and bombing of SPDC oil pipeline.<\/p>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\" async=\"\"><\/script><br \/>\n <!-- www.deltanewsroom.com --><br \/>\n <ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2163942495525027\" data-ad-slot=\"1411897411\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\/\/ <![CDATA[\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested one Jones Abari, aka Gen.
