But with my kind of person I am not only used to such things am equal to fighting such things.<\/p>\n<p>I have written several articles about Ogboru and all though sounds negative to alot of people they are facts. The last time just before the general elections I wrote about Ogborus decision to join the Labour party. I opined that it was another wrong decision which goes to prove Ogboru cannot make a good leader. I wrote at that time that the best bet for Ogboru then was to join APC, which is a national party. And he would have been ahead of the likes of Chief O&#8217;tega Omerhor. I wrote Ogboru can never win wether the elections were free and fair or rigged. But alot of people called for my head. Somebody who claimed to be his nephew called me all names in the books. For suggesting he should have joined the APC.<\/p>\n<p>Today, it&#8217;s another &#8220;AFTER THE REGAE, PLAY <i class=\"_4ay8\">\u25b6<\/i> THE BLUES&#8221; for this over priced general. He is now a card carrying member of APC, where the likes of O&#8217;tega holds sway. And again his decision to join APC was strictly his. There was no consultation of any sort with his camp. Ogboru didn&#8217;t talk with any of those people who has been putting their money on him over the years. Please quote me wrong. He took all of them by surprise. That&#8217;s not a man to lead a state.<\/p>\n<p>I always weep for my Urhobo people. All we hear is 5th largest ethnic group in Nigeria but all that has never translated to anything positive on ground.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s face one fact here. Apart from his wrong decisions in joining parties Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, a man running for office has never been accessible to even those who put their money on him let alone the ordinary people of Delta state. While Okowa was taking his time to personally visit leaders of all communities in the dead of the night Ogboru could not even visit people who live in Eku just 10 minutes drive from his Abraka home. People whom have spent millions of their hard earned money on his aspirations over the years. While the likes of Okowa was attending some important Urhobo functions, Ogboru was always missing in such functions. The highest he does was send his brother Turner Ogboru. I personally have a friend who have contributed millions of naira and alot of vehicles to the Ogboru campaign since inception but Ogboru has never visited him one day to say thank you even though he always drive through his house almost on a daily basis. So if he can&#8217;t be accessible to his Urhobo people is it the Aniomas that he will be accessible to?<\/p>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\" async=\"\"><\/script><br \/>\n <!-- www.deltanewsroom.com --><br \/>\n <ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2163942495525027\" data-ad-slot=\"1411897411\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\/\/ <![CDATA[\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><\/p>\n<p>My question is for a man who is not accessible even when he is soliciting for votes, tell me how he can be accessible when he becomes governor?<\/p>\n<p>Today we blame Okowa for for having so many SAs but the truth is the man is smart. These were the guys that worked with him. Most of them didn&#8217;t contribute a kobo. All they did was submit themselves to work. Okowa still didn&#8217;t stop there because he is still penetrating into the Urhobo nation even after the elections. The appointments of Rex Anighoro as an SA in his administration and recently that of Stephen K Dieseruvwe as DG DESTMA is a pointer to this. These are people whom have been loyal to the Ogboru cause over the years. I am one of those who have blasted Rex but it&#8217;s not for dumping the Ogboru camp rather it&#8217;s for other of his flip flops. As a man you should be principled. But come to look at it. This guy makes a living from all these things. But one thing is if you make sacrifices for somebody the best that person should do is show appreciation. But let&#8217;s face it, Ogboru was not fair to people like Rex. You can call him anything but Rex still remains an asset in terms of moving people in Delta state. But the selfishness and pride of Ogboru didn&#8217;t make him see all these but Okowa was smart enough to see these qualities. That&#8217;s one quality of a leader which Ogboru lacks. If the elections is conducted 10 times, Okowa will defeat Ogboru 10 times. Like it or not in 2019 Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro and SKD alone will move a large portion of Urhobo voters to the Okowa camp.<\/p>\n<p>I have watched several events involving Rex Ekiugbo where all manner of Urhobo leaders will be present only Ogboru will be absent and will not send even a representative. Life is give and take. But in the case of Ogboru all he believes in is take, take and take from other people. That&#8217;s really wrong.<\/p>\n<p>The Urhobos must sit and do proper soul searching. And ask some questions like..<\/p>\n<p>How did we get here?<\/p>\n<p>Who is really Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru<\/p>\n<p>Is he really what we think he is or he is over priced?<\/p>\n<p>For me I said it years ago and I still stand by it. Ogboru is far away over priced. Even if you carry Delta state and put in his hands to govern without elections he will fumble BIG TIME. But I know he can never be the governor of Delta state because the man don&#8217;t even campaign during elections. How do you win? We must look for a true replacement of Late Senator Ewherido.<\/p>\n<p>Like I said call me anything but the man is only using you to feather his nest. He joined APC today not because he wants to win but because he wants to be in the good books of the government of the day. Contracts will come for sure Ogboru no send una.
