I thought it was something else so I<br \/>\nquickly went into prayers,\u201d the 60-year-old man<br \/>\nstated.<br \/>\nAnother resident, Victor Idieto, described the earth<br \/>\ntremor as a kind of earthquake.<br \/>\nHe said, \u201cin fact, there was a kind of earthquake,<br \/>\nvery serious quake that lasted for some minutes.<br \/>\n\u201cAt first, I thought it was armed robbers that were<br \/>\nremoving my roof, so I started shouting, \u2018Armed<br \/>\nrobbers, armed robbers\u2019, only to realize that others<br \/>\nhad similar experience.\u201d<br \/>\nAt Akie-Oniso (Oruama) in Ahoada West Local<br \/>\nGovernment Area of Rivers State, a resident, Paul<br \/>\nKio, said the tremor caused a serious crack in his<br \/>\nbuilding.<br \/>\n\u201cThis vibration was something unpredictable, look<br \/>\nat the cracks on my wall,\u201d Kio explained.<br \/>\nAlso, Paul Harrison, who hails from Delta State, but<br \/>\nresides in the area, said it was the fourth time the<br \/>\nincident had taken place, vowing to take his family<br \/>\naway from the community if another occurs.<br \/>\nThe story was the same at Akinima, headquarters<br \/>\nof the LGA. A house wife, Animason Emeka-Mark,<br \/>\npointed out that she had a traumatic feeling<br \/>\nthroughout the fateful night.<br \/>\n\u201cEverywhere was shaking. It was something else.
