The militants were said to have carried out the attack under the pre<a href=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/bomb.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9829\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9829\" src=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/bomb-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"bomb\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/bomb-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/newsroom247.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/bomb.jpg 501w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>tence that they were officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on maintenance patrol.<\/p>\n<p>With police investigations underway, the the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said its premature to conclude the attack was the handiwork of Niger Delta militants \u2013 it was however reported that sabotage of such nature has been masterminded by the creek manors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat we heard is that during the day, some people disguised as NNPC staff.
